Awards & Funding Overview

Illinois International administers the International Achievement Awards and offers several study abroad scholarships, international fellowships, and conference travel and event grants to celebrate and support student, faculty, and staff mobility around the world. Below are the Illinois International awards to which individuals may apply.

International Achievement Awards

Established in 2000 with a generous gift from Dr. Jagdish and Mrs. Madhuri Sheth, the Madhuri and Jagdish N. Sheth International Alumni Award for Exceptional Achievement recognizes international alumni who are highly distinguished in their profession. In the subsequent years, the Sheth Distinguished Faculty Award for International Achievement, Charles C. Stewart International Young Humanitarian Award, and Illinois International Undergraduate and Graduate Achievement Awards were added to celebrate all levels of international work and scholarship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
