International Week celebrates the broad impact of international education, cultural exchange, and scholarship uniquely experienced at Illinois and within our local community. The celebration is comprised of numerous educational, cultural, and recreational events hosted by student groups, centers, colleges, units, and local partners.
International Week 2019
We are pleased to announce that the annual International Week celebration, currently held in April, will be moving to November to match the nationally-recognized International Education Week. This decision was made based on feedback from our partners across campus and past event participants.
The International Achievement Awards Banquet, one of the capstone events of the week, will also be moved to November. As a result, there will be no International Week celebration or International Achievement Awards Banquet in April 2019.
Thank you to everyone who has supported International Week and its associated activities in past years. We look forward to working with you in the coming year and making next year's celebration the best yet.
Save the Date
Please save the date for International Week 2019, which will take place from November 10-22, and the next International Achievement Awards Banquet on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. This extended celebration will capture several exciting activities, as International Week moves to its new November schedule.
