Nelle M. Signor Graduate Scholarship in International Relations

The Nelle M. Signor Graduate Scholarship in International Relations is awarded to outstanding University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign graduate students for research in international relations (both in the U.S. and abroad).

The Nelle M. Signor Graduate Scholarship in International Relations is funded through a generous gift from the late Nelle M. Signor.

Eligibility

All University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign doctoral students who have completed their required coursework and preliminary exams for their degree and wish to conduct research abroad may apply. The scholarship can be used for research during the summer or academic year.

Preference is given to students studying international relations, although students of all disciplines are encouraged to apply, provided that their research includes an international dimension. Preference will be given to unmarried, graduate students at the request of the donor.
