Enabled Abroad Scholarship

The Enabled Abroad Scholarship aims to encourage University of Illinois undergraduates with physical or sensory disabilities to study abroad.

While study abroad can be challenging, the experience can help you learn more about yourself and your capabilities. Gain a strong sense of accomplishment, gain confidence and independence, and open yourself up to a new culture, all while taking courses for University of Illinois credit.

To be eligible for an Enabled Abroad Scholarship, you must be an undergraduate at the University of Illinois with a physical or sensory disability registered with Disability Resources & Educational Services (DRES). This scholarship is for pre-approved study abroad programs.
