A message from Vice Provost Mabokela

rmabokela

As we reflect on the last year, I continue to be moved by the extraordinary strength and commitment of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and its global community. Together, we have weathered what at times felt like an impossible challenge--to continue our excellence in research, education, and engagement during a global pandemic. However, we have arrived here today thanks to the dedication of our community, and our commitment to transformative learning experiences.

On behalf of the entire Illinois International team, I want to thank our partners, collaborators, and donors for their tremendous support this year. As we begin a new academic year filled with hope and excitement, we remain committed to fostering more diverse and inclusive global classrooms that invite dialogue across cultures, disciplines, geographies, and worldviews. I am grateful for your ongoing commitment to Illinois International and its programs. Thank you.
