Illinois Abroad and Global Exchange

Illinois Abroad and Global Exchange (IAGE) provides exceptional study abroad experiences through academically and professionally integrated pathways for Illinois students, faculty, and staff.

IAGE facilitates over 200 program options in more than 60 different countries, serving as a collaborative partner across campus and providing support and guidance to faculty, students, and staff seeking to internationalize Illinois’ land grant mission. We firmly believe that global education is transformative and thus seek to build a more informed ‘citizenry’ through integration at all levels, beginning with academic pathways that are interdisciplinary in influence and collaborative in nature.

We strive both to address common logistical concerns around cost and credit, while also offering students access to talented staff whose expertise in international education promotes global competence—a vital base for success in the 21st century landscape.
