China Executive Leadership Programs              中文

The China Executive Leadership Programs at Illinois has provided superior, custom-designed executive education programs since 1993. With more than 6000 alumni, CELP is highly regarded as a top SAFEA training program.

The China Executive Leadership Programs (CELP), an initiative within Global Education and Training, is certified by the China State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (SAFEA) as an official China Overseas Training Program. CELP has hosted nearly 340 delegations of senior managers and officials from Chinese businesses, government agencies, and academic institutions. Participants benefit from our programming by returning to China with new perspectives and knowledge gained from quality, practical training in their fields, using the latest practices and techniques. As a result, CELP alumni are leaders, initiating significant changes and improvements that positively and significantly impact many important institutions in China.

Every program is custom-designed to meet the training goals of each client organization. Programs include lectures; seminars; visits to U.S. corporations, financial institutions and government agencies; tours of university facilities; and cultural, networking and social activities. Faculty-led instruction by academic experts and experienced practitioners may include consecutive interpretation by native Mandarin-speaking graduate students, if required. Upon successful completion of their respective programs, participants are awarded official certificates from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

CELP provides a unique and powerful tool for organizations to build stronger working relationships among its employees. Participants will acquire technical and leadership skills through their professional development at Illinois, improving the organization’s global competitiveness and enriching its understanding and business perspective between China and the United States.

“Education, Friendship, and Knowledge,” is central to every program we provide.
